TICKETED SHOW WITH HEADLINER YEAH HUH

Fun Facts About Yeah Huh:

Yeah Huh's journey from Fort Worth to Oklahoma City began when the band decided to chase a legendary musical artifact (Line 6 amplifier) rumored to bring unmatched creativity to those who possess it.

The band's guitarist/bassist, Michael Stone, is known for his collection of vintage Oklahoma license plates, each one representing a milestone or memorable moment in the band's journey.

Yeah Huh sells a limited-edition perfume called "Eau de Melody" that purportedly captures the scent of their music.

Dave Spindle, Yeah Huh’s bassist/guitarist, has developed an obscene shorthand language of gestures and signals during rehearsals to communicate musical cues.

The band's lead singer, Ryan Taylor, is known for his signature style of incorporating vintage cowboy boots and fringe into his eclectic stage outfits, paying homage to the band's Texan roots.

The band has a mysterious sixth member known only as "The Shadow." They never appear in public but are rumored to contribute harmonic drone elements to the band's sound.

Drummer Marty Dillon is known for his fondness of odd time signatures, often blending rhythms like 7/8 and 5/4 and 32/13 seamlessly within the band’s songs, challenging listeners' expectations.

Yeah Huh's concept album about space exploration was partly composed during a stargazing trip in the Little Sahara, where the vastness of the cosmos became their primary muse.

Keyboardist Chad McNaughton is notorious for incorporating unconventional sounds like a child screaming and a vintage typewriter into his playing, adding an eccentric and whimsical layer to the band’s music.

Each Yeah Huh EP contains hidden puzzle tracks, which, when combined, reveal a secret message or unlock exclusive content. Fans have formed disturbing online communities dedicated to deciphering these musical Easter eggs.

Yeah Huh occasionally invites fans to contribute large sums of money to the band’s diverse financial portfolio, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among their fanbase.

Sleepy Atlantis (Ticketed Show)

Reinventing a home-spun demo almost 20 years old can easily seem to be rooted in nostalgia and even a lack of imagination. To me it felt like a rare opportunity when I decided to dive head first into reigniting Sleepy Atlantis three years ago. The idea of recreating songs to reflect the person I’ve become, taking directly from work that represented the person I once had been, was exciting and has in turn renewed my love for writing and arranging music. In the last ten years I’ve had the chance to support some of my favorite Dallas/Fort Worth, TX bands as a multi-tasking instrumentalist - providing work locally, on tours, and in the studio. I’ve picked up instruments I never thought I’d be asked to play, been in the “hot seat” with producers I never imagined I’d work with, and I’ve met some incredible people along the way. Right now I’m releasing singles, writing songs and arrangements, and continuing to learn from and collaborate with musicians and artists I find exciting. That’s how it is, and how it’s been. Looking forward to what’s to come. - Bobby Zanzucchi

Daniel Markham followed by headliner Yeah Huh (TICKETED SHOW)

Just Like a Dream is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Daniel Markham, a powerful dreamscape that blends elements of power pop, classic rock, and alternative music straight out of the 90s. Recorded and mixed by acclaimed producer David Barbe (Drive-By Truckers, Son Volt, Deerhunter) at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, Georgia, in May 2022, and featuring Kris Killingsworth on the drums and Kyle Harris on the bass, his tenth full-length album captures the essence of a world emerging from the depths of the pandemic. The album, mostly penned during a tumultuous year in 2021, reflects the collective journey of a society awakening from isolation. With a vision to fuse the energy of power pop with the timeless allure of classic rock and the rawness of alternative grunge, Just Like a Dream delves into themes of isolation, self-realization, evolution, loss, and optimism. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Big Star, Love, Tom Petty, etc. and using massive, resonating guitar melded with a potent rhythm section, Just Like a Dream crafts a sound that's both nostalgic and contemporary, weaving together melodies that are as polished as it is raw and authentic. The lead single, 'Big Star', serves as a poignant anthem, shedding light on the disillusionment and disconnection often felt when making original music in an oversaturated industry. Just Like a Dream is poised to captivate listeners with its introspective lyrics, infectious hooks, and dynamic arrangements. As Markham continues to explore new sonic territories and evolve as an artist, the band remains committed to crafting music that speaks to the shared human experience.

Denver Williams is an eclectic songwriter. New music coming summer of 2024.Denver Williams is one of those people whom the stage seems to release all the shackled creativity inside him. Up there, he works a crowd as hard as does his band. For forty minutes, Denver morphs into a mischievous conductor, delighting us (and his band) with what he chooses to reveal. Conspicuous guitar talent aside, I enjoy those moments when a performer is wholly in the moment, consumed with joy. That is Denver Williams in spades,

Lazer Blazer formed one fateful evening when Steven Halliday and Bryan Cox quickly bonded over similar musical tastes, love of sci-fi, and appreciation of blazers. They knew they must form a band then and there. They quickly recruited brother, Luke, on drums and later dad, “Pops”, on guitar. Recently, cousin and key master, Pat, joined to form the current lineup. Inspired by the 80s post punk sound they grew up on and indie artists of the past 20 years, the band prides themselves on creating all original loud, but sensitive, indie rock music for the masses.

The Rahr family started making beer in America in 1847 – almost immediately after William and Natalie Rahr immigrated from Rhineland, Germany to Manitowoc, Wisconsin. The steadily increasing population of European settlers created a demand for beer of better quality than “the typical kitchen brew” and William – having come from a long line of German brewers – knew he was the person to fill the void (and the beer steins). His Eagle Brewery was the first lager brewery in Wisconsin. The soil and climate around the Eagle Brewery produced a barley of particular virtue to the brewing of fine beer and William eventually added a malt house that not only supplied the needs of his brewery, but also the needs of neighboring breweries. Eventually, William started shipping his malted barley as far as St. Louis where another German pioneer and enterprising brewer used all he could for his nationally famous brand. Tragically while on an inspection tour of the brewery in 1880, William fell into a brew kettle and suffered burns from which he never recovered. To honor their father, his sons changed the name of the brewery/malt house to William Rahr’s Sons Co. William’s sons continued guiding the malt house and under their direction the first scientific malt testing laboratory was installed and German patents for the production of roasted and caramel malts and malt-coffee were acquired. (Today, Rahr Malting Co. produces and supplies malt and industry-related brewing supplies to roughly 90% of the breweries in the United States.) 160 years after William Rahr founded the Eagle Brewery, his great-great-grandson and namesake, Frederick William “Fritz” Rahr, Jr., felt the pull to brew and with the blessing of his wife, Erin, opened Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. on the south side of downtown Fort Worth in 2004. Knowing the family history, staff at Rahr & Sons tend to get nervous if Fritz leans over a brew kettle too far.

"Learning names is a Dallas based indie rock band that formed when lead singer and guitarist Dook Dootson uprooted from Manchester, England, to try his hand at forming a band stateside. He would play with numerous lineups before landing on the permanent arrangement giving the band its namesake.

The band’s unique sound is driven by Dootson’s crisp vocals. With percussive acoustic guitar, dynamic rhythm section and blasting horns."

Kevin Aldridge

Kevin Aldridge has quietly earned a position of respect in the DFW music scene by dedicating years to songwriting and entertaining audiences. Witness his three nominations for the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards -- “Best Americana/Roots” artist, “Vocal Performance” and “Song of the Year” (“Here’s the Thing About Me”). One of my favorite things about Kevin’s music is that it isn’t easily classified. In a single set, you’ll hear tunes that would be crowd-pleasers at Billy Bob’s or Lola’s. Good music is good music.
In addition to performing, Kevin Aldridge is an active supporter of local arts. One fascinating project developed by him and Ryan Taylor is a digital collection of home demos by local artists distributed through Bandcamp. Hopefully, there will be future volumes.

Kevin is also frontman of Fort Worth's Hotel Satellite. Calling Hotel Satellite a "new band" might be correct on paper, but a rebranding is surely the more accurate term for the Fort Worth quintet as four of the five members played together for the better part of the past decade as Kevin Aldridge and the Appraisers.Well known for their classic college indie meets heartland rock and roll sound, singer/guitarist Aldridge and his crew collected quite a following throughout North Texas venues. As with much of the rest of the world, the pandemic of 2020 left Aldridge, along with his fellow Appraisers guitarist-vocalist Steffin Ratliff, drummer Brian Shaw, and keyboardist Maui Mang wondering if the band would see the other side when the dust began to settle. Thoughts of pivoting to being a studio recording band exclusively led to questioning if the live performance era of the band had come to an end, but the foursome continued writing music and rehearsing unsure of what the future would hold.

The early 2022 addition of bassist Chuck Brown (Telegraph Canyon) sparked prolific writing sessions of new material that gave the band a new found thirst for the output to be heard by the masses. The group decided a new name was in order, thus Hotel Satellite was born.

With soaring guitars met with three part harmonies and a rhythmic backbone reminiscent of the glory days of Motown set the table for songs about the important (and maybe not so important) nuances of everyday life, Hotel Satellite are stoked to share their new songs with the masses.

“[an] established songwriter with enormous talent and a gift for crafting tunes that eschewed formula. [But] with the addictive Again, At Last, his latest solo record, Paleschic has gone from merely an on-the-rise performer to inarguably one of North Texas' finest singer-songwriters. The twang of his previous efforts is intact, but it's layered with noir-ish nuance and with a tight confidence of delivery.” -Kelly Dearmore, Dallas Observer

“Though initiated from an autobiographical space, Paleschic’s creative intuition is fueled to some degree by an internal resistance to making obvious choices or blindly following the patterns of genre” “...daringly insightful songwriting with inventive vocals that burn with authenticity.” -Lyle Brooks, Madeworthy

“[Paleschic] is keenly aware of life’s cycles and grows restless staying in one medium too long.” -Edward Brown, Fort Worth Weekly

Ever since officially moving to Fort Worth, (Eelbob) Jon has put down roots in the local scene (Rebuldarum) and started making up his own words to better describe the “mayana” (or Greeblezorp): the unspoken thing that energizes and renews all art forms of all living beings. Self-taught, he spent countless hours practicing, singing, and learning the finer nuances of his favorite pastime. Focusing primarily on Country and Singer/Songwriter genres. At the age of twelve, Mel began playing gigs around town and expanded to playing around the State of Texas and Nashville. Cameron Smith, a folksinger and songwriter from Fort Worth, TX, emerges from the Unexpected City, birthplace of songwriting legends like Smith’s hero Townes Van Zandt, Roger Miller, T Bone Burnett, and more.

An artful storyteller forged in the crucible of the DIY punk scene, Smith grew up writing and touring the country as a teenager with bands making heavier music before maturing into his own distinctive voice and sound as a folk country singer-songwriter.

His timeless melodies, infused with a southern gothic spirit, intricately weave tales of love, loss, and legacy, resonating with echoes of classic folk writers such as Fred Neil, John Prine, and Guy Clark, as well as alternative artists like Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Magnolia Electric Co., Smog, and Silver Jews.

Since 2021 he's released a string of singles out of esteemed studios such as Modern Electric Sound Recorders (Paul Cauthen, The Texas Gentleman) with producer John Pedigo (Joshua Ray Walker, Old 97s, Vandoliers), and Niles City Sound (Leon Bridges, Vincent Neil Emerson, Robert Ellis).

Smith has charmed hearts across the land on his relentless odyssey, leaving a trail of notable achievements, including standout showcases at 2023’s AmericanaFest in Nashville and Folk Alliance International 2024 in Kansas City. In 2022, he was awarded Best Folk artist by Fort Worth Weekly and its readership.

Now, Smith is poised for a forthcoming revelation: his debut studio full-length album, Gold & Rust, looms on the horizon, destined to carve indelible marks upon eager souls, and showcase Smith’s evolution as a torchbearer, carrying on in a tried and true genealogy of Texas troubadour songwriters. The lush and orchestral debut is brought to life live by his backing band The Slings.

Paul Blankenship has been a quiet (and often not-so-quiet) player in the Fort Worth music scene for years. He was the original bassist for The Dangits as they first emerged on the scene and won one of that year's FW Weekly 'music awards. While ebbing and flowing through all of those various projects, Paul played clawhammer banjo and sang old-time tunes at home almost every night. These days, he blends all of those genre influences into a rowdy sing-a-long format that celebrates the rougher roots of country and folk music's history.

Cassandra May Lorance

Solo artist, Singer-Songwriter, Musician

Cassandra May Lorance is a strong, independent, determined, passionate woman of wonder. Her heart is as big as the fire in her soul. She's overcome a lot of pain and hardships in her life. She was born in Massachusetts and raised in the small town of Fort Worth, Texas. She grew up in a family of seven. Being the middle child taught her how to be on her own team.
Cassandra wrote her first song on the piano, with lyrics, at the age of 6 years old. Music and art have always been her biggest passions. She started singing in the internationally known Texas Girls Choir at age 9. She played percussion all through school and was one of the only females in the drumline.
As an adult, Cassandra waited tables while in pursuit of her other passion and dream, owning her own salon. She got her first salon job in 2011. After her father had a heart attack on Christmas Day in 2012, and passed away shortly after, Cassandra realized how short life truly was. To fulfill her dream and make her father proud, she decided to open up her own salon, from the ground up, in 2013. She had her own upscale business named Salon Amore' at age 24. However, she always had music in her heart as her first passion.
After getting back in touch with her inner child in 2016, she started lead singing in her former band. For almost 2 years she sang at open mics, working on her craft. In 2019 she began traveling back and forth between Atlanta and Fort Worth. She was running her business and keeping up with her band in Fort Worth, whilst traveling to Atlanta to spend time with her best friend/muse. Atlanta offered the seclusion she needed for song writing and poetry. It also inspired her to take piano lessons in order to compose her songs on her Capen piano, named Francesca.
On September 29th 2019, after 6 years as an entrepreneur, she decided to simplify her life, and closed down Salon Amore' to pursue her singing/songwriting dreams in Atlanta, Georgia.

Cassandra's hope is to heal peoples' hearts with her music, diminish what divides us as humans and bring us together as one.

Robert Ryan

Born and Raised in the heart of west Texas, Abilene, Robert Ryan’s music is steeped in the rich tradition of Texas Country. Raised on a healthy dose of classic country and rock and roll passed down from his parents, Robert’s musical journey took a definitive turn when he encountered the sounds of Pat Green, CCR, The Randy Rogers Band, Wade Bowen, and Micky and the Motorcars, to name a few. Their blend of Texas swagger and heartfelt storytelling resonated deeply and he’s never looked back.

Now a resident of Fort Worth, Robert has been hard at work crafting and playing his own brand of Texas Country for the past year. Drawing inspiration from the legendary sounds of the genre while weaving in his own unique voice, Robert’s music promises to be a refreshing addition to the Texas Country scene.
